In Corel 7 and Photoshop (old version) we have Solarize with options to control it. Is there smth in new version of PS or hot to control it? May with another filters or adjustments like curves?

Try this in Curves: fix a point on the centre value, then drag the upper right hand point all the way down.

The curve now should have an arc shape.

Whate version of Photoshop?

In CS and every otherf version I have seen it is under Filter>Stylize>Solarize. Flaming Pear also has ChromaSolarize and EyeCandy has Antimatter which is similar. You can control them all somewhat by going to Edit>Fade after applying.

There may be other ways of doing this. I would look for some tutorials on the web.
