No, it’s not absurd. It’s a lesson.

It’s fairly commonly understood that typing in all capitals online is considered shouting, and is considered as rude, unless one is trying to make a point and demonstrates the understand the difference. Not only that, but reading all capitals is tiresome on the eyes. The sooner people who don’t understand these things learn them, the better.

Sooo, Cecil…what I’m saying here is this: You conduct yourself the way you want, and I’ll do the same.

Capice?

The important thing is making sure your foreground is a layer. Is it an object or what? Copy/Paste your new background image and drag it beneath the foreground in the Layers palette.

We really need to know more about your images to answer completely.

Do you have a manual, hjghjg?

First you have to learn how to make a selection using one (or more) of the many tool available in Photoshop. The help files (F1) will explain these more fully.

Once you have made an accurite selection you can copy that part of the image (the cut-out) onto a new layer (Ctrl+J).

Now open the image you have chosen to use as your new background and drag it across to your layered file, adjusting the order of the layers so that the new background is directly beneath the cut-out.

Hope this helps.
