new install XP pro and photoshop problem

I newly installed XP pro and photoshop 7.01. The problem is the browser takes 5 min to load the thumbnails , does anyone have an idea what is going on

DDR ram 512Mb Pentium 4

If the image hasn’t been thumbnailed before on that system, it takes time to create it…

512 megs is barely enough to run the operating system. RAM’s cheap…buy more.
