Hi!

New to all this so excuse my ignorance! Started some work on a friends computer and then brought it home to continue on mine. The files were saved on a computer with CS2 installed but I am still using Photoshop 7. Should the files be accessible via Photoshop 7 or is there something I should have done in the saving process to make them backwards compatible. Thanks,

Brian

PSD’s or JPEG’s?
Did you "maximise compatability" when saving any PSD? Edit>Preferences>File Handling

Thanks,

JPEG’s. I just saved the item on the computer with CS2 and then copied on to my pen drive to bring home.
It’s all a learning curve!

Should be no problem with JPGs, aye..’tis a learning curve (can be a bit steep at times) 😉
