have academic version of cs2 (which i fully qualify for) and when cs3 comes out i want to upgrade.
can anyone tell me in the past with photoshop what was approx price for upgrade to next version? i am especially looking forward to acr 4 as it looks very nice.
like to clean install my machines often… and wonder if i have to install cs2 and then cs3 on top of it which is not what i want as it just clutters up the registry… does adobe make there upgrades possible by just "sniffing" the disc in drive or entering my license info?
just trying to get the cleanest path available without buying a whole new version.
btw… vista was suppose to be only upgradable on top of previous version (XP) but in fred langa list newsletter windows secrets he explains how an upgrade can be clean installed… i hope adobe will allow that.
