Check that it’s shortcut has not been accidentally added to your "Startup" folder.

Or on the Startup items under Run>msconfig.

It is not in the Startup folder but I found two items under Startup items under Run/msconfig: Adobe Reader Synchronizer
Adobe Reader Quick Start
Which one should I remove?

Neither of those are related to Photoshop, those are both for the pdf reader. Did you check your start menu, under "startup" to see if the program is in there?

You should also be able to download Spybot S&D and manually disable it from there, in advanced mode.

They have nothing to do with Photoshop. They are for Adobe Reader, I believe. You could uncheck them or leave them alone. I think it only means it will take longer for pdf files to open.

Don’t know what the problem is with Photoshop.
