I am going through a book called "Classroom in a book" it is for Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Has anyone used this book? This book assumes that the steps listed will work everytime. Unfortunately this is not the case. And worse the book does not offer any suggestions for help.

For example when I go through the Spot Healing Brush on page 115 the steps indicate that this brush should remove the "water wake" in the picture. But when I go through the steps it does not do anything. The "Water Wake" is still there. It’s not like the steps are in any way difficult, but I’m not getting any results from the Spot Healing example.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I have that book and did every exercise in the book up until chapter 13.

I didn’t have any problems with the the "water wake" problem on page 115. Are you sure you followed all of the steps in the exact order?

These are my results: http://i8.tinypic.com/48g8mxh.jpg

There is an error in the ‘Toyz’ exercise starting on page 281. I spent hours on that one thinking I was making a mistake. Only after I decided to experiment by ignoring the instructions did I get it to work. I was surprised that no one else had picked up on the error.
