I have a 9216×1204 pixel panoramic picture i want to divide into 18 512pixel segments. How can i accomplish this without having to crop each individual section. Croping each sections is how I’ve been doing it and it takes too long. I’ve searched for an answer but I’m sure I’m using incorrect terminology and am not finding the answer I seek… Thanks in advance for any help

You may be able to do it with slices.

Instead of Cropping you might use a selection of the right size, move it along to each spot and use Copy Merged. Paste into a new document each time.

I don’t think you can automate it though, at least not very much.

You can automate it by exporting to Zoomify in PSCS3, setting tile size to 512×512. Maybe…

Paul. What is your final intended use? Why do you need these segments?
