patch tool – use all layers options

Hi,

Does the patch tool in photoshop have a ‘use all layers’ option, like the stamp tool?

No. I often wish it did.

Its close cousins the Healing, and Spot Healing, brushes do. I had hoped it was just an oversight and that it might be implemented in CS3.

But guess what!

In the Beta, at least, the patch tool remains the same as CS2, whilst the Healing Brush now has three options: Current Layer, Current and below, and All Layers.

Ah well. 🙁
