I have been using a licensed CS2 since Nov 2006 and today when I tried to use I got this message, any ideas?

Try rebooting, trashing your preferences, and restarting Photoshop several times. If that doesn’t work, try doing a repair reinstall from the original disk, or uninstall and reinstall.

try reinstalling.

something got corrupted somewhere with your activation. some things that MIGHT screw with it are registry cleaners, restore points, hard drive utilities, defragging the hd, etc.

Ahhh, yes. Defragging rears it’s ugly head once again.

When one doesn’t know what one is talking about it always sounds so impressive to mention defragmenting a disk.

Tell me. How will defragging (or not defragging) a hard disk cause (or solve) a software problem?
