I have 2 images that need to be placed from eachtother to get cross-reference effect. They need to overflow from eachother from a (small) distance. The smooth way I think will be used for this. Dependent on plugin effects sure. But these images must connect to eachother.
That I can´t be more clear on really. But if you do a mix with milk and tea. It would image like this. But there is no distance between it. And it doesnt stretch. This why I wanna use the way of Photoshop. That might do it like I gives before as information.

Greets,

Mark, I still can’t figure what you mean.
Are you talking about the 3D images for which you have to cross your eyes for the 3D effect to appear?
or do you want to compare two images to see the difference between them? the difference blending mode is what you need…
(still trying to figure the correlation with milk and tea…)
Mark:
I think we just have terminology in the way. I think you are talking about blending 2 images together – a gentle transition from one image to another. Yes?
If so, here’s a starter:
Load one image. Load the second and drag it from the layer palette onto the first – hold SHIFT as you drop it. If the images are the same size, you will now have one sitting neatly on top of the other completely obscuring it. Now add a layer mask to the top one. Select the mask and apply a gradient.
Is this getting you going?
Sigh. Remember that we cannot see your computer nor read minds.
I have 2 images that need to be placed from eachtother to get cross-reference effect.
What is a "cross reference effect"? Do you mean you are writing a set of encyclopedias and wish to cross reference them?
They need to overflow from eachother from a (small) distance.
What does "overflow each other" mean?
It sounds like English is not your primary language, and that’s okay, we want to help. Post an example of "overflow", because I think of too much milk in your tea making the liquid overflow onto the saucer.
I think Colin may be on the right track, it sounds kind of like a gradient, but we’ll need more help from you than that if you want help.
I Think (by the name) he’s Dutch, like I am.
Mark, if that’s true, write it in Dutch and I’ll try to translate it. Hope that doesn’t violate forum rules. If so, I guess I’ll do the dishes for three days then… Rob.
Hope that doesn’t violate forum rules.
Nope. In fact, it’s greatly appreciated Rob! We want to help everyone we can!

Colin Walls,
I try it. I will send a message to you back later (the forum). Thanks for your support.
