Hi,

I have a bunch of PNG files. Here’s what I want to do to them:

– Change the image size from 72 DPI to 300
– Resave them as .tiff files.

I noticed the automate section under file but can’t make heads or tails of it. What steps do I follow to do what I want above?

I had a similar problem with my pics…. and TWK helped me out…. so I gues I can do the same in return…..he pointed me to a site……http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2 52128…… this will give you instrtuctions on how to record an action and use the automate batch. Basically you are creating copies of your original photos… then saving them in a new folder, then you open up photoshop, then start recording a batch action. Once done recording the action, including saving it as a web file to a specific folder, you stop recording, then whatever photos you have copied to the new folder to be "batched", you are all set…. you will at that point just need to automate the batch, which you have already found….it was very helpful for me….
