Hi all,

We use Canon 5D & 1D with CR2 files and Photoshop CS2. When the files are read with bridge on the internal hard drive, we do not have any problem. But if we try to read the files from an external hard drive (usb2.0, ethernet 1Gb or eSATA) some files are corrupted and become unusable.

The same problem appears if the files are backed up on an external hard drive and reimported on the internal hard drive (restore process).

Any idea to help prevent this weird corruptions ???

thank you in advance

Are you working over a network? Any bad sectors on the externals? Open My Computer, right click on the drive icon and select Properties>Tools>Error checking.
