Hi,

I forgot how to get rid of aliased white halos around a raster graphic. I think I used the background eraser – can’t remember. Can anyone give me a few refresher steps?

Thanks.

Maybe I’m not asking the right question – how do I erase just one color?

Magic Wand would be my first choice for a single color. Remember that the Magic wand will use a sample size driven by the eyedropper tool. So if you set eyedropper to sample a 5×5 area, when you use the Magic wand tool, it will also use a 5×5 area. Then of course, your tolerence settings in the options bar.

Another way is with Select|Color Range…

Try using the Layer/Matting/Remove White Matte. Or try using Defringe under the same menu.
