Hi there!

My 15,4" WUXGA notebook has a resolution of 1920×1200. That’s no problem during normal work because I can change the icon, menu or font size in nearly all programs. The only programm where I’ve problems to enlarge the icons is Photoshop CS2. Is there a possibility to enlarge the tool box, menu, icons etc. in Photoshop CS2?
I’m thankful for any help that helps to relief my eyes.

That’s a high resolution for a 15" screen.

Is it possible to set it to 1024×768?

Otherwise you could try setting the UI fonts larger in Preferences, but the palettes themselves are a fixed size as far as I am aware.

NEVER set an LCD panel’s resolution to anything other than the native resolution. The results will be very poor especially when working with something like Photoshop.

There is a Photoshop preference to enlarge the UI fonts but other than that you really have to live with it or you could buy one the new Microsoft mice that has a built in magnifier. Just hit a button on the side of the mouse and a magnifier pops up on screen.

I’ve the same problem on my laptop (a Toshiba – same size and resolution), I’ve learnt to wear binoculars when using it – get some strange looks when I’m demoing at trade shows though!

Thank you guys. Yep, the native resolution of the nb is 1920×1200. I’ll buy one of these mice Robert talked about.
Thanks again.
