Can I change defaults in blending options?

I particularly want to change the distance and spread of drop shadow and the color (my default is RED???) and size of stroke…

thanks,

Don’t think so. Maybe an advanced programmer could, maybe.

"the color (my default is RED???)"

I remember reading that this default is some sort of a running, inside joke with the engineers. Not so funny to users though.

People have been requesting a way to set our own defaults on these for several versions now.

Just set it all out as you require, then same it as a new "Style".

Thanks. That definitely is easier than making all the changes each time I open BLENDING OPTIONS, but I was hopeing to be able to set up defaults that would allow a hotkey plus one keystroke to implement a default option.

I guess I can do it with an action.

cheers,

I guess I can do it with an action

….and then set the action to implement it via a hotkey plus one keystroke 😉
