I have 64 pdf files that I need to save to a width of 125 pixels and a resolution of 72 dpi. Their current widths vary. Is it possible to create a batch command to do this in PSCS2, and if so, would you please indicate the steps? Thank you for whatever help you can offer.

Yes,

Record an action resizing and saving a sample file (do NOT rename the file while recording the action) and run it as a batch.

CN, Thank you for your reply. How do I resize files to a width of 125 pixels? The Image>Image Size dialog does not offer a pixel option in the Change Width drop down field.

The Pixel Dimensions are right above!

Or better still, use File>Automate>Fit Image

Thanks for the File>Automate>Fit>Image idea. I got that to work on one file, but I’m still having trouble getting a batch operation. PS Help says I should first open the file. Since it’s a pdf, I have to go through pdf import options. Then I create the action using the Automate Fit. But shouldn’t those first two steps be part of the action? Also, I’m not sure when to use Save or Save as. Thanks again.

Got it to work. Because all files were pdfs, I had to open each via the Import Pdf dialog. I opened a dozen at a time, then chose for Source "Open Files" and checked Override Save As.
