My main drive with Creative Suite Premium and Studio 8 has gon disk read error on me.

Is there something you need to do with adobe before you load the same software again on a new drive?

Just install it and activate it. If you’re denied, call the phone number on the screen. But the activation counter does reset from time to time to allow for such things.
