How to move vector drawing to InDesign

I created a custom shape (cross) in Photoshop from a download I got in the Exchange section by using the custom shape tool in Photoshop (CS2). I’m trying to place or copy this drawing or graphic into InDesign since I have a little better layout and type control than I do in Photoshop. I tried rasterizing the custom shape but it still wouldn’t let me copy/paste or even place it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
