Hi,

I switched the grid on for some work on an image a while ago and now it appears by default on every image I open which makes it a tedious task to turn it off every time I open an image and dont want to use the grid which is most of the time.

I cannot find any way in the preferences to switch it off permanently only for each individual image, probably missing something obvious but can anyone help?

Thanks.

Pete,

If Show Grid is enabled when you close your last image that is open, then that state is remembered as part of your preferences, and subsequent images that are opened will also have the grid. So, make sure you turn off the grid before closing the last image you’re working with if you want to keep it off.
