Hi. I have a question for anyone who is willing to help. I’m trying to run an action that involves a type layer. Specifically, the action involves centering a type layer at the bottom of the Photoshop document and then saving the file. Somehow, when I run the action with the type layer, it doesn’t work; the type layer won’t get centered and it gets ignored. Does anyone know how to make a type layer work as part of an action in Photoshop?

More information is needed.

Is this an existing type layer or is it made by the action? Does it have a specific name? Actions will work on a named layer and ignore a layer with a different name.
