I am a photographer and wish to create an action that will "copy" the image file name and "paste" it onto the face of the image (in the bottom right corner) as follows…

Image name: DSC_1234.jpg

I want to create a line like:

Your pose #: 1234

I don’t mind playing around a tweaking until I get things right, but I can’t find anywhere to "copy" the filename that I want to paste in the image.

HELP!!!
Desperate,
J.

You will probably need scripting for this (in fact a script doing that may already exist)

Check out the Photoshop scripting forum, the folks there are better equiped to answer you.

Or dare the Adobe Exchange to try adn find that script (warning: the interface sucks like a vacumm on steroids)

Hi James,

I have a script to do this available on my site.

The script you want is the third one down from the top.

Bye for now
