When importing a scan from my flatbed Epson 1640su photo scanner in CS2 (import twain 32/Epson) the colors are shifted towards red when scanned into Photoshop.(they look fine in the Epson scan program)
My system is color managed from monitor to printers.
The other scanners are using SilverFast AI 6
(Nikon ls-2000 + Microtek ArtixScan 120tf)
and using the Adobe 98 color space and there is not a problem. Color is as it appears in the scanning program.
CS2 is also setup using the Adobe 98 color space.
The Epson scanner is an RGB device so when I scan, I change CS2 to the RGB color space to get a better match.
I don’t use the Epson that often to justify the expense of new drivers like SilverFast but it would be useful to get the colors CLOSE!
I did not encounter this problem in photoshop 7.
Any suggestions?
