What is Fireworks for, so far as setting it apart from ImageReady and PS?
I’m looking at the Creative Suite 3 info they emailed me and I see that Fireworks is still the app they hold out for prepping web graphics. Personally, I normally use PS and ImageReady, they work together for that purpose. Every time I open Fireworks it seems like it’s made for essentially the same usage as ImageReady. Confusing! It also does vector graphics editing along with bitmap. Ok, but that’s what I thought Illustrator is for. I want to learn the most capable app for each area of work, but it’s hard to know what that is when Adobe provides its own competing apps.
