Photoshop CS2 to CS3

Hi everybody

I purchased the CS3 version of Photoshop (NOT the upgrade), but I have already installed CS2. Do I have to UN-install CS2 (saving the plug-ins folder) before installing CS3 or will it automatically upgrade ?
I also have other adobe programs (Premiere pro 2, After effects 7 pro and Encore DVD 2); Does CS3 give problems with those programs?

No.

or will it automatically upgrade ?

Also no, it will add the new version in a new folder and you will have two working copies of the program (good in case you have trouble with the new one … many users will wait a month or two before deleting the older version).

Does CS3 give problems with those programs?

I’m not expert on these, but I suspect you will have no problems.

Some of us never delete the older versions.
