I try to install Photoshop CS3 on XP. When the installation is complete and I shall start Photoshop for the first time I choose "I want to try Adobe Photoshop CS3 for free for 30 days".

I then get the error message: "Problem with Trial" "A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3".

I have reinstalled several times, run cleanup scripts but get the same error message anyhow. I have tried to install it on another older pc and there it is no problem.

Any ideas regarding what is wrong and how I can get around it?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I am aware, PSCS3 is not yet available as a 30 day free trial. Certainly it’s not listed on the Adobe Downloads pages. Where did you download it from?
