I’m running Vista x64.
I’m having problems with sRGB and the web.
I do my photos working with adobeRGB workspace and setting up for the web I convert the color profile to sRGB. I save the image as a jpg with the sRGB profile. When viewing the image within Vista x64 with the default viewer everything looks just like the color managed workspace of CS3. Vista is color managed so I know it will view correctly and I know that IE isn’t color managed and is dependant on sRGB. But when I upload the image to the web I get terrible color shifts with too much yellow tints. For example the blue hue of the sky turns a bit aqua. And when I use the function in CS3 as save for the web the color shift is also seen. So my question is how to calibrated for web viewing as seen in a color managed enviornment. Is the color shift on the web due to my monitor and graphic card device? I’m using a pair of ATI x1950xtx in Uber Edition in Crossfire mode. I’m relectant at this time to load anything for the web due to what I see is bad color shifts. I asked others who are viewing my image to make sure they are seeing what I’m seeing and they too see this. Once they download my files to Photoshop it looks fine.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Regards,
Larry
