The situation I’m in. My user is an Admin with complete rights to everything.

– I have CS2 PS/Illustrator and Studio 8 installed on a WinXP machine (Dual processor Xeon workstation, if that makes a difference).
– Installed PS CS3 beta (I’ll never, ever, ever do this again. Lesson learned). – Forgot to deactivate, yes I knew I was supposed to. I was too excited to finally have Web Premium CS3, so I just uninstalled CS3 beta.
– Installed Web Premium. Got error on start-up. Visited forum. Realized my mistake. Uninstalled entire CS3 package. Ran level 1 cleanup script. Then level 2 after level 1 did not fix my problem.
– Still getting licensing problem.
– Tried re-installing the beta, so I can deactivate. Now “files are missing.” So I’m asked to provide a serial number. The same serial I used to activate is somehow not valid. Yes I checked 20 times, even re-typed 3 times. Gave up and uninstalled CS3 beta. Ran clean-up level 2… same “licensing” problem after installing Web Premium. Nothing will start-up.
-Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
-Ran through the “manual uninstall” instruction for the beta. Everything was properly removed. – Now I’m here. What do I do now? Please help me. This is day 3, my weekend is shot. It takes 2.5 hours every uninstall and another 2.5 re-install. My hair would go gray but I’m pulling it all out.
