You can install it and activate it on both computers. However, the next time you want to change one of your computers you will need to Deactivate it (from the Help Menu) before you can re-activate it on the new computer. I.O.W> you can have your license actitivated simultaneously on NO greatther than 2 computers at any point in time.

Murray,
Thanks! So it’s just like before. I wasn’t sure anymore. Thanks for clearing that out.
Rob
I can understand Rob’s question. The note at the bottom of Page 1 certainly reads that way:
Note:If you want to install the software on a different computer, you must first deactivate it on your computer. Choose Help > Deactivate.
The installation on the desk computer went smoothly. Everything seems to work OK.
Previous version (CS) still functional too, so if anything strange happens, I can revert back to it. (can’t afford to not have a Ps working).
Tonight I’ll install Ps CS3 on my laptop without deactivating it on the desktop and see how that goes.
My problem would be in travelling with my equipment, and laptop, and to be forced to deactivate the desktop at the desktop, while I’m not there.
Will report back 🙂
Rob
EDIT: also, with the laptop I want to be able to work without being connected to the internet. Of course, I will be connected during Ps installation.
Rob,
I’ve done exactly what you’re trying to do. No problems whatsoever. I do work offline on the laptop as well.
Rick
I haven’t tried it on my laptop because I don’t think the poor old girl would cope with CS3!
Well, have installed Ps CS3 on both desktop and laptop, both activated, all went smooth.
I also have the distinct impression that on both my laptop as my desktop the performance is slightly better than CS, which wasn’t bad at all.
Both run under XP-pro SP2. Desktop Int P4, 2GB RAM; Laptop Int Centrino, 1GB RAM.
Rob
Same thing as Rob. Installed and activated on both desktop and laptop. Slightly faster than CS2.
