so here is the scenario:
our graphics department as well as drafting import images via Fiery Scan into Photoshop, and its been working for a rather good time until 2 weeks ago. Fiery Scan would pre-scan but NOT import the image after pressing scan into Adobe. It DOES work with GIMP and the other programs we use the TWAIN for.
Now heres the funny thing. 2 other computers are having the same issues and ive been able to monitor any changes. theres been None! no new programs, windows updates, etc..
Im stumped, Any input?

What version of Photoshop? Correct current drivers? Have you tried trashing Preferences?

Could be a network issue.

Photoshop CS2. Drivers are up to date, and as far as a network issue goes every system save these 3 computers are able to prescan and scan.
Now i have tried a full uninstall/reinstall of CS (whether it was necessary or not, who knows) followed by a reinstall of the fiery scan driver and the problem persists.
Now as far as preferences what options there would impact this scenario?

I don’t know, but setting it back to defaults may well fix the problem if it used to work but no longer does, and nothing has changed.

I would always trash prefs before reinstalling. It may be all you need. Reinstalling the program keeps the old prefs.
