I removed the CS3 trial program from my system (Windows XP)and now my CS2 program has missing sections..example: the browse no longer works. Should I simply remove CS2 program and install again? or is there something else I should do first?

Thanks

Good question, Rosamund. Since uninstalling CS3 Beta and installing the shipping version of CS3, my CS2 Bridge (browser) no longer works. I also get an error message when launching PS CS2, which I can "OK" and PS CS2 goes ahead and launches. Just no CS2 Bridge anymore. I’m hoping that Adobe will start addressing this (and SHOW UP HERE to confirm that), but who knows?

I’m a little concerned that no one (that I’ve seen) other than Adam J. from the Photoshop team seems to be posting here lately. Kinda ominous, if you ask me.

CS3 removed from system

Do you think a reinstall of my CS2 would restore the Bridge browser ?? I am in the middle of a huge edit and the browser is so helpful……..just as I hit the uninstall button for CS3 I had a bad feeling thinking that perhaps this is not such a good idea in the middle of a job!!!

Thanks Nick

Since I removed the CS3 beta, I can no longer "Close and go to Bridge" from CS2. Also, clicking on the Bridge icon at the top of the CS2 screen yields an "Error 2: Photoshop is undefined.".

I’ll never install another beta on my working computer.
