Is it a bug or is it my graphics card. I tried everything. In the liquify filter popup, when i want to do anything, at the place of my cursor i get a strange bitblit of an array of the layer i want to deform, so i can not see what i am doing. Now this is so odd that it must have been on this forum but i cannot find it. Am i realy the only one or is it a big Bug? and are we seeing PS7.02 soon. have put a screen shot at <http://www.gerarddruiven.nl/gdruiven/photoshop/>

sounds like a video driver bug. go into contol panel> display> settings> advanced and turn hardware acceleration to none and see if it goes away. that’ll prove if it’s a driver problem.

and i doubt you’ll see a 7.02, 8 is almost out the door.

Da.. your right. that works. But i do have latest driver of my NVIDIA GeFMX440, and i do a lot of VRML X3D and all works fine so did not think of that one. Ok it works but i don’t like it this way, i will see what happens if i go up one strip, ’cause i like it that i can use the liquify but i hate my scroll bar now.
funny i already thought that i would end up with a new comp after buying my a4wacom, Thanks Dave.

Often times, the newest driver isn’t the best. In general, I tend to recommend that if you have the latest drivers, are experiencing a problem in Photoshop, and setting Video Hardware acceleration to NONE solves the problem, that just means the latest drivers ain’t the greatest, so roll back one version (or one point version) of vid drivers.

sorry, just catching up after vaca. … just wanted to reiterate tony’s advice of rolling back one driver version, then sending a note to nvida about fixing the latest driver.
