There are a multitude of questions and answers about the ins and outs of installing/updateing CS3 on this forum.
Would it not be reasonable to put a sticky at the front of this forum (especially with more and more people updating to CS3), that specifically outlines (once and for all) the exact steps to follow based on various configurations?
There just seems to be too much confusion with unofficial and "official Adobe" instructions (spread all throughout) about exactly what to do.
A consolidation of actions (ie., One stop shopping) required never hurts the User community. And that comes from many years of experience in the IT space.
