I purchased a new computer windows vista and using photoshopCS2.my scanner is epson perfection 2450 photo.It worked fine with my old computer with windows xp but not with vista.I installed the scanner a number of times trying to get it to work.I downloaded the new vista drivers for the scanner and sometimes it will allow me to scan using the twain driver and after one scan it cant find the scanning device message pops up.If i reboot then sometimes it will work for one more scan.I like using the silverfast driver but it will not work at all with that.It says searching for devices and then freezes.I also had a hard time installing my printers.I do not recommend vista if anyone is thinking of the purchase.
Any suggestions?

Look at the Epson site and you will find that the 2450 isn’t supported for Vista.

Lawrence, thanks for the reply.The epson website has a download for the vista for this scanner.I thought maybe it would work but i was doing something wrong.
