OH NO! NO PHOTOSHOP! Has anyone ever seen this error message before?

Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.

I don’t have any viruses or junk of that sort. I have changed absolutely nothing as far as hardware or software for quite some time. I get this message when trying to open CS2 and can’t get any further. Any help would be appreciated. Although I’m half decent at PS, I’m pretty much of an idiot when it comes to PCs. Have you ever seen this error before? What should I do next?

Never mind. Actually, I just rebooted and everything seems fine. When I rebooted, it looked as though Music Match was some how still running in the background even though I didn’t have it open. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. Anyway, I’ve got my PS back. Thanks again.

I’ve heard of it but never seen it. How about some details on your computer?

Could be a RAM or Hard Drive issue. Here’s a few ideas from a Google search:
