Image Resize Bicubic Sharper: CS3 vs. Beta CS3

I may be nuts, but it seems to me that the results with image resize (reduction) using the Bicubic Sharper interpolation method are different in CS3 than they were in CS3 beta. The CS3 beta results were sharper and required less sharpening after resize than the CS3 results which are more like the CS2 results.

Has something changed?

The interpolation in CS3 public beta is buggy.
