im using the newest ps, and when i move layers, i get a gray box, that shows on the screen and prints. Whats the deal? do i have to move the layers into a new window to get rid of the box?

Can you describe what is happening a bit more. Where does this gray box appear? How/where are you moving the layers? How about a screen shot?

figured it out. when i grouped layers, and moved them, the whie background of the layers moved with it, leaving a grey box. i had to ungroup them then fill in the bottom layer.
