My Notebook: IBM Lenovo X60 Tablet
Platform: Chinese Window XP SP2
I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium Student Licensing version (English) which contains Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Cue CS2, Indesign, Acrobot 7, and Acrobot 8 upgrade version.
I installed all of them, and everything works smoothly except the photoshop CS2 which give me tons of headache. First, it cannot update. When I click Help and want to select the Update button, it is in gray color. Second, my shortcut keys are not functional. For example, I clicked "V", the selection tool is not selected. And I click "Ctrl+N", nothing happens as well. Third, I cannot type a single letter even I selected the Type Tool by mouse. It said something prevent it to work. Last, photoshop slows all my system down dramatically.
that’s the problems I encountered so far.
PS: Even though I cannot update my Photoshop CS2 by itself, but I can update it by using Cue CS2 which update all the Creative Suite 2’s softwares. So, the version of my photoshop CS2 is 9.0.2 but the problems are still there.
What should I do now? Anyone knows how to fix these problems? Please help me out!
