Text in Photoshop 5.0

I am creating buttons for a website using Photoshop 5.0. The text is Arial 15pt normal. When the text is entered it is fuzzy when displayed at actual size. In PS6 setting "strong" fixes the problem by adding more shaded pixels to increase the width of the text. How can this be done in PS5?

I can provide an example in an attachment if that will help.

Probably can’t. Why are you using 5 if you have 6? Both are relics of a prehistoric age, especially 5.
