Hi, I’m trying out Photoshop Elements (5.0, build 20060914.4.77, the 30-day trial version). I went through the tutorial, which has you create a slide show and I tried the "record narration" feature. I recorded my voice, and when I played it back, it was high-pitched & fast, like the old "Chipmunks" cartoon characters.

I then went to plain old Windows "Sound Recorder" and it recorded my voice fine. I used the same Plantronics headphone/microphone combo for both recordings.

Any ideas? I’ve got a Dell Inspiron 5100, Pentium 4 2.4GHz, running Windows XP SP2, with 1GB of RAM, over 6GB free hard disk space.

Thanks,
….Chuck

Duuuh–guess I was in a hurry and didn’t see the separate Elements forum in the list. Thanks for the redirection.
