You can create a flash file in CS3 extended, provided you have flash professional installed, that will install the FLV QT componenet required.

Is flash professional included with cs3 ext? Is it part of setup or a download? Extra expense?

nope. it’s a seperate product completely.

i’m not sure you need to have flash professional to produce say a flash web gallery in cs3. look under file > export > web gallery (i’m not at my photoshop system, sorry if that’s a little off)… in there there’s an option for a couple of flash galleries. you can’t do much with it cs3’s flash capabilities, but you CAN do some things like galleries.
