Why won’t a guide being dragged onto the page snap to the center of the document anymore as it did in previous versions. All snapping is enabled and the document is filled with 100% opaque pixels. Even when the entire document is selected (so that snapping to selection can be used) the guide will not snap to the center of the document. When the selection is contracted by 1px the previous step does work.

I’ve also found the Snap to Document Bounds doesnt work (usually, a moved layer would snap to document bounds – not in my PSCS3 Extended).

The strange thing is that when I switch on the snap to document bounds in View>Snap To> the snapping works for the outside boundaries of the document (even when there are no solid pixels in a layer) but not for the center of the document. Even if I fill a layer as in previous versions and have the transform controls showing the guide will not snap to the registration point / center of the document.

This has been driving me crazy but I think I figured it out. Uncheck "Layers" under "Snap to" – I think it conflicts with everything else. When turned on, items only snap to layers. When turned off, it snaps to everything else like it should.
