I resized from 72dpi to 300dpi, using the bicubic option, and got a
smaller
sized image in inches. Is there a way to resize using more dpi and keep
the
original width and height of the image?

Fractals?

Wavelets?

But how come when I resize the digital pictures that I took using a 2 mega-pixel camera the size jumps over the 500k filesize… I tried changing the 72dpi to 150dpi.. and it seems to make the picture clearer.. I am an amateur at this things.. This is the first time I edited the digital pictures that I took.. I always copied the pictures to the CD and went directly to the Kodak Developing store for the 4R prints..

Hope you could help me produce good prints.. Is it better to save them on GIF or JPEG format? and is it better for RGB or CMYK color scheme?

cmyk is mainly for printing on a printing press because the color you actually make it has to have some relevence to ink colors available to printers otherwise they would have forty skillion diferent ink cans laying around. rgb has way more colors and are easily reproduced either on a tv or computer monitor there fore are mainly used for those formats. so it depends on what your planning on doing with the end result of your work.
