I would like to know if it is possible get rid of paper texture in a photo. I have taken some pictures of water colours and the paper texture is too defined.

Can I fix this?

I am using CS2

Post the pix. (My guess is, it would be difficult to remove texture but maintain the art imagery).

Does the paper have a "woven" or "embossed" look, or is it just a rough texture?

Your best be may be re-photographing the artwork, but changinging the angle of your lights.

Or using diffuse daylight.

If that doesn’t help, get the artist to paint them again on matte paper 😉

I will try with the diffused sunlight and see if that makes a difference.
