I have a picture 6.5 inches wide
And it is 4.5 inches high

I want to add canvas (to which I will add text) to the bottom

Bob

I can also post the flattned picture in pixentral.com (notice I did not put the C). if that would help

What have you tried so far?

CTRL + ALT + C (Image’Canvas Size…) will get you to the dialogue box you need. Should be pretty easy to figure out from there.
