Photoshop CS3 runs o.k. except, when I try to open two photos at the same time or try to duplicate an image, I get an error message which says,
"Adobe Photoshop CS3 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Please, can some one tell me how to cure this?
I’ve tried installing with no startup items and no non-microsoft services running. I’ve tried running the program with no start-up items and no non-microsoft programs running.

I have not been successful in installing a post-script printer. Though one of the adobe troubleshooting guides suggested doing that. I downloaded the driver program, but I can’t get it to run.

I’m running Windows XP Prof with SP2 and almost all updates. (Not all because one broke Microsoft Office 2007 and I had to restore to an earlier time after downloading and installing all the updates to date.

Thank you
David Schwarz

Try trashing/resetting Preferences as per the FAQs.
