I’m looking for a book that helps me teaching an advanced Photoshop class. Here’s the situation:

The students know all common Photoshop possibilities: masks, effects, clipping masks, adjustments layers, vectors, filters…

So far they always had a lesson about something e.g. "masks" and then they made excercises how and when to use masks.

Now I want to take this a step further and give them tutorials and excersises that let them combine all those techniques to solve interesting Photoshop problems.

Is there any book you can recommend me?

Check out the Photoshop Classroom in a Book. About half the book is on the basics, but the other half gets into deeper subjects. It would be worth looking at, although it might not give you exactly what you need.

I suggest poking around a well-stocked book store.

I know the Barnes & Noble and Borders stores near me each have upwards of 40 titles dedicated to Photoshop. Some basic, some advanced, some very narrowly focused. Go have a look and find the one that’ll work best for your needs.
