Error message: "Could not initialize Photoshop Elements…"

When I try to startup Elements 3.0 from a fresh install (either Start From Scratch or Edit Existing File) I get this error:

"Could not initialize Photoshop Elements failed to initialize ."

I searched the forums for "glossaryi", no dice. Please help!

You should really post in the Elements forum. And when you do, please give them some details about your system.
