Hi,

I am trying to make a polka dotted border for an ad I am working on and I can’t figure it out. Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Johanna, here’s one way: click Window>Brushes, check Spacing, set to maybe 150 to 200%. The bigger the dots, the higher the spacing. Place the brush in a corner of the image, hold down Shift to enforce a straight line, and drag along an entire side. Repeat for the other sides.

[In your other post about the problem with the Type tool, did you fix it by plugging in a standard keyboard, or did you replace a bad keyboard in your laptop? Just curious.]

I did fix it with using the keyboard. Thanks for all your help.

I’m not seeing spacing on the brushes menu.

You’re very welcome. So, did you add a standard keyboard to the laptop so you could have use of both Enter keys?

About the brushes, I only have CS3 installed now, so maybe it’s different on other versions. Look in Help for "brush options". Or say which version of PS you have, and I’m sure someone else can get you to the right screen.

The slider setting for "Spacing" is located in the "Brush Tip Shape" section of the Brushes Palette.
