I upgraded to CS3 Web Prem. from CS1 on WinXPPro and noticed PS now includes the animation palette but when go to Save for Web and Devices… the animation palette there is non-existent and I have no way to save as multi-layered (animated) GIF.

Do I need to uninstall ImageReady CS1??

work around was to save animation as PSD, open in IR CS1, then File>Save Optimized As…

What’s that thing that pops up when you go to Window > Animation?

I read that the Save for Web & Devices dialog has an animation (controls) palette as well—that is what I am referring to as "non-existent"…I believe PS CS3 is calling up the Save for Web from CS1 somehow (I never uninstalled CS1).

I don’t use animation in Photoshop but there are some Animation controls in the SFW dialog.

Josh…Those are exactly the controls I don’t see! I was curious to know if anyone could explain why.
